Our Story

TMT Education was founded in 2020 to capitalize on a variety of recent trends in the way students are engaging with educational content. We started working with individual students and have transitioned into working with larger groups of learners. Our main focus is test preparation, though we are planning on expanding our market footprint in the future to other crucial skills and subjects that learners need to succeed in the 21st century.

What Does TMT Mean?

TMT is a shortened, romanized acronym for the Korean proverb, "티끌 모아 태산." Applicable to almost every facet of our lives, the proverb succinctly states that small, incremental inputs can lead to stunningly large outcomes. We chose this name because it reflects our experience working with students for more than three decades combined: students that make a consistent effort and experience incremental gains are likely to see amazing results.

I took a digital SAT class in January 2023 with TMTedu. As a sophomore I know I need to prepare for the new digital format test, but like many of my classmates I felt totally lost. There isn't a lot of information out there yet. Stephen's class was a great way to learn the new test format and effective strategies for each type of question. For middle school or younger high school students: start preparing early if you need a score higher than 1550!"
